SRI ARUNODAYAM
Objective: To provide shelter to mentally challenged, abandoned children.
Location: Chennai
Projects requested: they asked for help with the personnel expenses of the centre’s medical facility, which include the salaries of the doctor and the nurse, just like last year, plus the salary of a physiotherapist. They also needed an industrial washing machine.
Project implemented: we helped with the salaries of the doctor, the nurse, and the physiotherapist.

CHILD
Objective: School.
Location: Chennai
Projects requested: They asked for help with three projects: 1) daily expenses (including schooling for 18 children); 2) the IT project; and 3) the I Support a Girl programme, which helps young girls affected, directly or indirectly, by HIV.
Project implemented: We helped with the tuition expenses for 18 children.

INSTITUTO LOYOLA
Objective: School.
Location: Managua
Projects requested: full tuition for 13 students of all levels of education, from primary school to university

CHILDREN HOME OF HOPE

Projects requested: they were having problems with the tubes and the drains from the toilet. They were asking help urgently in order to solve that problem. On the other hand, they were also asking for new computers for the school.

PCVC
Objective: to help children affected by domestic violence .
Location: Chennai
Projects requested: they asked us to continue our support to the Smile Project.
Project implemented: we provided support for 67 children participating in the project.

VANAVIL
Objective: to provide schooling for nomadic children.
Location: Nagapattinam (Tamil Nadu)
Projects requested: they asked for help with the centre’s maintenance expenses, namely: teachers’ salaries, food for the children, and other basic expenses (electricity, healthcare, transport, etc.). They also requested financial assistance for a new project of extracurricular activities (Theatre, Sports, English and Mathematics, among others), aimed at children from the immediate surroundings of Vanavil.
Project implemented: we helped with part of the food and educational expenses.
